RE4 is an epoxy resin made from bisphenol A.

When curing amines or polyamines it offers high quality application characteristics, such as high mechanical properties, good chemical resistance, excellent thermal properties, etc. Under normal conditions, at storage temperatures, crystallization does not occur. The advantage of resin and hardener mixtures is their clarity. The resin is transparent at a temperature of 0-10ªC, without clouding like some other epoxy resins. The resin with the hardener creates a low viscosity system that allows good wetting and penetration into the tissues.

The resin is suitable for production with glass, carbon and Kevlar fibers, and is characterized by high static and dynamic properties. The resin cures to a transparent finish. It can also be dyed with pigment.

It is essential to use the correct weight ratio and use a digital scale, since otherwise the properties of the resin would be affected. Do not add more hardener looking to accelerate the curing time.
