Carbon fiber prepreg with epoxy resin.

Using high transparency epoxy resin as a matrix, this prepreg is suitable for structural purposes. It can be used with metal molds or composite with standard technologies: Hot Press, Wrap, Autoclave and Vacuo.

With a fiber volume of 65% and a grammage of 100 gr./m2, this unidirectional fabric can be used together with one or more layers or together with other heavier support layers for thicker laminates.

With this same resin, and so that it can be combined, we can supply other fibers, both carbon and glass, there are needs that you will not find on our site, do not hesitate to ask us.

With this pre-impregnated, you will be able to obtain mechanical properties comparing two autoclave curing systems without need.

All of us are pre-impregnated are framed in our freezers.

Transport

The prepreg will leave our facilities frozen, therefore to calculate their useful life, it is enough to deduct the transit time from the moment of shipment or upon receipt.

Armazenamento e manuseio

When not in use, or pre-impregnated, it should be kept frozen at -18 ° C in sealed plastic containers. When used, or material must be removed from the freezer and completely thawed at room temperature before opening in the bag to avoid water condensation.

The remaining material must be sealed again before returning to the freezer to avoid risk of moisture absorption.
