AIREX ® C70 is a closed cell polymer foam. Its fine cellular structure offers a good bonding surface which makes it ideal for various applications from the construction of hulls and decks of ships, ships, vehicles, industrial components in the construction of turbines, containers, aircraft assembly to the manufacture of canoes, kayaks, skis, surfboards ...

It is ideal for use as a core of sandwich structures that are subject to loads. It is very light, with good resistance to compression and stiffness, resistance to rot, vibration and low capillary absorption due to its closed cell structure, being also very suitable for humid climates.

PVC foam is compatible with most resins and manufacturing processes.

Foam plates can be easily cut, punched and glued with different types of resins and hardeners. It can be easily post-cured up to 65 ° C without deformation and can be thermoformed at temperatures> 115 ° C.

NOTE:

AIREX® is light sensitive. To avoid discoloration of the material must be stored protected from light, otherwise the material darkens.

All our plates admit a certain tolerance in their measurements, this is given of the necessary cuts. They may then have irregular borders in some cases that in no case affect their quality, but do affect size.

Small damage to the edges caused by transport may occur, despite quality packaging.
