KEVLAR

KEVLAR FABRICS FOR USE WITH RESIN

Aramid fibers are a special group of synthetic fibers that, due to their chemical properties, are particularly strong and resistant to heat. Kevlar, a trademark of DuPont, is probably the best known among aramids.

Aramid fibers, including Kevlar, are widely used in composites, either alone or together with other high-performance reinforcers, such as carbon fiber.

Kevlar (and other similar products) can provide heat / fire resistance, resistance to impact destruction and are also used in bulletproof vests and armor, to name just a few applications.
